Sub Sections of Categories

Ed- please see question titled 'where have all the punters gone' under crosswords in Quizzes and Puzzles...... just why do we hae all these sub-sections to trawl through??? Makes life difficult trawling through trying to remember where a certain question is.

the present set-up doesn't really work for Q&P - (I offer no opinion on other sections, since I do not use them very much.)
Q&P
a quick count shows that Abers use Q&P for crosswords cryptic + gk more than for other items eg puzzles -
human nature --- it is less hassle easier and quicker to post to the heading topic, than to the sub-topic.
I am not against sub-categories, but I am against sub-categories that are patently not working.
Like any business model --- I hope that the Ed will review the outcome of a previous policy change and see if it is working (working means to the like and approval of its consumers i.e. ABers; contributing to the popularity of the site; and whatever else the Aims of AB are)
