I just wondered, what would you say the poem 'Spinster' by Sylvia Plath is about, summed up in one sentence?
Here's a link for it, you just scroll down and it's there. I'd appreciate this SOOO much.

It seems to me that this poem concerns the differences in our life and the chaos a lover can bring when they arrive in our life. It's like autumn, all leaf litter scattered everywhere. It also seems she is equating winter with purity and wishes it was that season. Alone, life is uncomplicated.
So to avoid the upset and strange feelings love will bring, she retreats into herself. Becoming a spinster perhaps not for real, but in her head.
