so ... Kate Mepham has responded in kind to 'her' early-day moaners, and now sets a much harder crossword;
a challenge even to conferences of AB site users;

There are a great many puzzles available, both Cryptic and GK, for those who seek something less challenging, and no shortage of tougher ones for the kyakaminadistas.
It is in this middle level that the DT, it seems to me, strikes a rare and welcome note.

I do not 'post' where I stand ..... I stood gainst the early-day 'bashing' of KM
Interesting Poll result from Abers (individuals who take time to 'research' for answers, and conference on AB).
KM representing MM Associates seems contracted to provide xwords to the DT for Saturday and Monday. MM Associates have to please the DT (ie the majority of readers) not ABers ..... I hope that KM does so.
