Can anyone help with the first answer on Saturday's Independent picture quiz in the puzzle magazine please? I've done all the rest but am stuck on this one. There are pictures of a big letter M, HSBC bank, and a polo mint. I know what the connection is, although I'm not sure whether I should mention it here for fear of spoiling someone else's enjoyment, but can't find anything to fit the pictures, even though I've been up and down the line a few times.
Thanks very much. I'm kicking myself now. I was looking for something beginning with the letter "M" rather than the sound "EM". It has also helped me with the first one on today's picture puzzles which I've now managed to complete, so if anyone needs any answers or hints then please let me know.
Yes, I had King's Cross and Hendon Central, although the second one was largely guesswork. I don't know who the man with the microphone is, but once I got the Hendon bit and Al Capone and the end, I managed to work it out.
