im in shock at the moment as iv been up the hospital all night with my bf who got beaten up by a gang of youths last night as we walked back from our meal!! i think its disgusting that people get away with things like this!!

heres what happened, we went out for a meal just 10 mins from where we live, and on the way back is a little park thing with a few benches that you have to walk through to get to our house, anyway there were a bunch of youths sitting on one of the benches with a load of girls, and they started mouthing of so i told my bf to ignore them, anyway the next thing i no a house brick has hit the back of my bfs head and all i can see is blood this caused him to drop to the floor and he must of passed out cos the next thing is iv got a lad holding me back making me watch my bf get beat up by about 6 lads were kicking and stamping on my bfs face and throwing housebricks at him, after about 5 mins they all run off and i phoned an abumlance and they took us up the hospital because my bf kept passing out, when we got up the hospital they had to give my bf stiches, hes also got a chipped tooth bruises all over his back a black eye!! ALL this because we walked through the park to get home!!!,
WTF is going on in the world today!!! its shocking!!

i only recognise one of the lads the one who was holding me back and most of the girls, basically the lads were showing of infront of the girls after theyd all been drinking cider!!!!
How dreadful.Hope your bf is soon ok.Bet you are shook up,it must have been frightening. All the best.
They are basically stupid cowards, chances are your bf will see them in the park again and will hopefully catch a couple of them when they are alone.
you can either go to the police and they do f*ck all or you can get a group of lads together to beat cr@p into them and you end up going to prison. Todays laws in society suck.

tell me about it we rung the police and they said they'll "TRY" to get someone out to see my bf today!!!!
sam, I hope it all works out well. I won't go out at night on foot, and in your situation would have detoured to avoid going through the park at all.

My bike ride home from work goes through a small park and kids gather around the entrance. If there is a crowd there I ride straight past and take route B home. It doesn't take much, "oi yer wheel's goin round" for example and whether you ignore or answer back you could be in for trouble.
Try enroling on a local Ju-jitsu or Judo course until your boyfriend is better and if it ever hapens again you'd be able to stop them holding you back.

i would of been able to do anything to him he was twice the size and weight of me!!
my bf is a boxer and he couldnt do anything there was too many of them at least 15!! thats the least and all the girls were laughing so noone would of helped its a good job they run of when they did, cos i dont no what might of happened!!
Awww so sorry Sam.

U must be in quite a bit of shock.

Wish i could explain the reason for the youths today, but i can't and it doesnt seem anyone can.

They make me sick.

Hope you and your boyfriend are ok.xxx
Get the one who was holding you back, put the fear of god intio him by finding out where he lives, and do him when his mates arnt around, while you are having fun beating him to a pulp explain that each of his mates will recieve the same treatment, one by one while they are all alone.
some little tw@t who thought he owned the estate we moved to when In left the Army tried to intimidate me, that was his 1st mistake, everyone knew where he lived so finding his address was no problems, next time he stepped out of his house (it was winter so there was not much light) he walked into his worst nightmare (in the shape of mr johnlambert). I did exactly what I've advised you to do at the top of this post, no more problems for the rest of the johnlambert family
end of..
Although its a nice thought seeking revenge on these spineless thugs, i dont think its worth it...

Going by all the knife and gun crime deaths we've seen and read recently i wouldnt advise you to play mind games with these people.
Im so sorry to hear of what happened to you Sam, but I am a little disconcerted as to why you feel the need to come on AB and tell the whole story within 12 hours. I do hope this is a symptom of shock and that you overcome this shortly and support your boyfriend through recovery.

Perhaps the way forward might be to approach the local press and try the name and shame route to filter out the imbeciles and highlight the indolence of the police. It might not work and may bring more trouble, but as you have said something should be done.

octivus, the reason i did it is too show what society is like these days and maybe shed a bit of a warning to people thats all, plus i have noone else to talk to......
Im quite lucky that where I come from its not that bad and its such a small town that they would get their comeuppance and if a girl was held back by a lad hesdbe a dead man. I once got punched by a lad and fell over into some speakers on a dance floor. By the time I could tell them it was an accident and that I got in the way he was chased and beaten up down the road.
This is a horrible story. I hope your boyfriend recovers soon and that you are able to get over what you saw as well. I am sure that this is not the only thing these idiots have done so maybe the police will have ideas on who is responsible. Would like to think that they will get caught.
they never get caught coz they are kids and too young for anything to be done until they shoot someone
FFS, the little barstewards!

God, hun, I hope you're both okay. I seriously hope they get their comeuppance.

Take care of each other, sweetie. x x x
Sam I do hope you and your boyfriend are ok! This, sadly, seems to be a common occurence in Britain today (especially in my area) and it scares me to think that this is the kind of society my son will grow up in.

Take care of yourselves, big hugs!

xxx
Absolutely appalling. Call me oldfashioned (ha ha) but I believe the root cause to be a .total lack of discipline everywhere.
Schools cant reprimand.
Parents cant slap.
Courts useless.
Police dont care.
Some youngsters to-day boys and girls have a complete lack of respect. more to follow
