BRAKING FAULT warning on Peugeot 406
I have recently had a 'Brake Fluid Low" warning displayed in my 2001 Peugeot 406 110 HDi. This is most likely due to a faulty handbrake switch (I have experienced this on a previous 406). But today I now have a "BRAKING FAULT" warning and the hanbrake warning light stays on whether the brake is on or off.
(Note: The handbrake is not binding when the car moves, and the fluid level is at Max.)
I can only guess this later fault is a progression from the hanbrake switch fault but would like an opinion a.s.a.p please.
