Radio 4. Just a Minute uses a format where the contestants have to hold forth on a subject, for the radio programme they do need to try and be amusing. The point system is awarded if opponents can spot either repetition, hesitation or deviation.
On here could AB'ers could rate answers and award or deduct points.

So points deducted when its
repetition of kill all Muslims and then send them home.

Deduct for deviation when its
who is the biggest tin solider?

For hesitation the 5 posts ban will have to be lifted so that points can be awarded for those who can stay here 24/7 constantly posting on the same subject again and again and again. Anyone stopping for food breaks, sleep or a social life will obviously loose points

I guess this will work better on some topics than others.

absolutely; that would make the end-of-year announcements of who got the most stars much more interesting.

So jno - you start with 3 but can you add to your point total or will they get withdrawn by the 31st?

At the beginning of a thread, could we also have a sideline in betting on who will get the most deducted or added? I think a bit of a flutter should add to the enjoyment.
definitely. I was in line for the cut-glass decanter (5th prize) last year but was pipped at the post by dot.hawkes, who got all her family to give her stars. Disgraceful behaviour.

when, not if, but when my suggestion is taken up by AB I will continue to vote for you as I like your responses. You may need to consider what your programme of campaign will be to be ensure your victory. But, be aware that you now have 6 points and others will be jealous and desiring your points so keep them safe. Be a lert and ware stalking horses.

The Prophet.
Not at all as far as I am concerned. You would know if I had been on the Sherry as I would have been down my town centre causing mayhem, after I had given the missus a good hiding before leaving, finishing my evening off with a spell in the local A & E where I would have proudly shown off my self inflicted injuries whilst being highly abusive to the nursing staff - I am British after all, as soon as I smell the slightest whiff of alcohol that's me given permission to behave in the most aggressive and offensive behavior possible. Not like those johhny foreigners who were brought up in a different culture and therefore enjoy themselves whilst remaining perfectly socialable and non violent.
I mean the country will really be going to the dogs if we have to actually accept that booze doesn't create socio pathic tendencies, it just frees people up to behave in ways that sober they just might feel inhibited either from some sort of moral order or fear of repercussions.
I am already sounding out the judges to see what sort of inducements would sway them. I have heard rumours that B00 is on the panel this year, so am stocking up on Fondant Fancies.
Question Author
Now is that a wise move making it publicly known the B00 is a fondant fancier, could not competitors also seduce with a sweetie?Or are you in fact very very cunning and laying a false trail, deliberately leaking misinformation. Is B00 in fact not a confectionery connoisseur but more of a savoury scoffer. If so find out if she loves or loathes marmite.
By the way, what happens when this post falls of the edge, will we stop have to meeting?
