DOT HAWKES what do you recon on this for an idea?
Hisla Medisla Dot. If I had your e-mail address I'd of used it instead, but the news is, while i was at work today, mulling over how much I'm going to enjoy catching up with answerbank and what a wonderful idea you had there, I thaught of a new catagory to add to the list. I hope you'll see it as a "goer" I think it would be well used, simply titled "Where are they now?" Thunderclap Newman did a realy inovative single in the late sixties and, being a muso myself, I wonder how they actualy fare these days for eg. Someone must know and be able to post an ANSWER. O.K. so my question is , just what are Thunderclap Newman doing these days? Needles to say it could be a question on a sports personality, politician, inventor or who or what ever. What y'think? Is it a goer or what? Only you have the power. I'd love that Topic and I know a lot of other people wouild too, please make it pos. if pos. and thanks again. dily795

But do you think it would be a good inclusion ? Just where are and what IS Thunderclap Newman doing these days ? After such an inovative recording, then another single that didn't "make it" to the same degree, no third ? what !!!???? Somebody somewhere is mates of theirs. Somebody somewhere is mates of their mates who could illucidate. Have you cheked in yet Dot ?
Thanx for that link ELVIS68, now that's possitivity for you, something too often there is a sad shortage of, here and elsewhere. I don't know how to post links like that or I would, but I'll have to ask one of the grandchildren how it's done! Stop feeling the neccessity to be pointedly negative and cynical please some of you. You see? it's working already! For e.g. -but for the youtube from ELVIS68 I'd never of realised they had James Whale on piano!
I still think it would be a worthwhile inclusion in the topics list - (or is the topic already covered in History?)
I summise it's up to Dot in the end. :>)
