My computer is very slow and i keep getting something called PC TurboPro system perfomance warning.I know its not right cos its asking me to sign up for �30ish.I have Norton internet security which seems to be working ok.Anyone know what this is,is it serious?

i would also recommend getting rid of norton as it always fails to stop this kind of thing happening regularly.
Try "AVG" & "Zonealarm", their both free, and work much better.

There are plenty of instructions on how to uninstall norton on this site, and a large number of users use both the programs above. Good luck!

No only one anti-vrus or they conflict and cause more problems.

Someone once pointed out at a security forum, 70% of the victims have Norton installed. What does that tell you?

I once had Norton installed on a PC of mine and it caused no end of problems. Software which I'd used for ages started acting up and the PC became unstable and crashing at least twice a day. I removed Norton and now use AVG which has caused no problems with games or application software.
As stated earlier by Bob a Job Zonealarm is also an excellent firewall progam and it's free.
