im i going mad???

hi,everyone just wanted some advice really.went to see my midwife today to get my blood tests done.i will be 11wks on thursday.told the midwife i could feel the baby moving around ,especially at night(ive allready got 2 young children),so i knew it wasnt just wind lol.but when she checked to see if she could hear a heartbeat there wasnt ,as she said it was to early!!!.so is it the baby moving or im i just going MAD!!!!.going for my 1st scan on 11 of october.

I know people can actually sometimes feel movements earlier than is thought, but I would think 11 weeks is really too soon, youre baby will only be about 1.5 inches from crown to rump. Im expecting my second and first started getting the flutterings from around 14/15 weeks but couldnt be certain. Now at 19 weeks.........its definately using me as a bouncy castle! lol

We never do know exactly whats going on though do we?

I don't think you are going mad you know your body better than anyone else and everyone is different. Those first feeelings are little flutters like a butterfly I loved that feeling. The heart beat may not be heard for a few weeks yet but if your are in anyway concerned I would get an earlier scan the last thing you or anyone else in you life wants is for you to be anxious during a time thaa you need to be as relaxed as possible.

at 10 weeks i could feel my second baby moving around. i didn't believe it at first and thought it was too early. she also popped out two weeks early too.
these early movers are so eager.

Im 12 weeks and i have thought for the last week or so that i can feel movement but Im not positive.

This is my second.

Its not very easy to pick up a heartbeat prior to 14 weeks or so using a doppler, but it will be beating strong in baby and baby will be able to kick and punch in there.

I felt my first 2 move at 10 weeks. Not a huge lot but every now and again. This one was 14 weeks when I felt it move.

hi all ,thanks for your answers,i feel bit better now.cant wait for next thursday to come so a can actually see her.well i say her as that is my guess ill have to wait and see!!!
