Not a question; more a comment on this Sunday's very dodgy attempt at a GK crossword! Both the anawers to 8ac and 15 d are alternative spellings, and some of the clues are semi-cryptic. Could do better!

Hi 'C'. I increasingly find both the Sunday Telegraph GK and cryptic to be what I would term 'loose' or sloppy in some of their answers. I agree with your comments re. today's offering, though I found 15d on Wikipedia and had no idea it was an alternative spelling.
