Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I have (finally) completed the puzzle and managed to fill in the two grids.

But.... can anyone explain what is meant by "Correct versions of each grid contain top-line indications of which set of solutions goes into which grid"?

I assume it means it should be obvious which solutions are required in each grid, but I can see no connecting thread(s).

I think it's just a round about way of saying that once you get those 15 and 4 letter solutions in the correct place the other solutions will fit in. I must admit I found this one really frustrating .
I did have some help with where to position those answers ! But once I'd got those into the correct place it was quite straightforward .

BigMac - look at the very top letters of the two grids - one will say LEFT (with three other letters), the other will say (two other letters) and then RIGHT - this tells you in which grid the rwo sets of answers should go.

I thought it meant which grid goes on the right hand side, and which on the left....if you look closely at the top line of each, there is an indication.

Pretty obvious that I need to go and see the optician or clean my specs more often ..my only excuse is that I am now officially ancient .I did wonder why I was presented with a magnifying glass as a Christmas present !

I had to rewrite the two grids after completion, prior to sending them off last month ... as it was sod's law that I originally worked them out vice versa and then saw the left and right designations staring me in the face!!

Mind you my original was very scruffy, so it probably needed rewriting in any case.

I must admit this type of puzzle adds to the interest! (S)
