Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

i am trying google but it keeps coming up with bodlean
i am now trying to find out the founders of college libraries

I don't have the puzzle, so may I ask what's the clue & number of letters for 1a? Also, number of letters in 3d & 4d?

Ashmolean library so perhaps Ashmole or something like that.

Apologies for a senior heay-cold induced moment. It is Ashmolean museum not library founded by Elias Ashmole. Thomas Bodley did, indeed, found Oxford's most famous library.

since writing this i have tried elias ashmole and it fits!! but like yourself i thought it was a museum

I was just about to agree with you novalis! While it is called the Ashmolean Museum, Elias Ashmole also donated his library, and would appear to fit magstar's clue - with the exception of the 'D'...(?)

From the letters you have given It looks like Elias Ashmole but that would make your D wrong.
