18 Answers
They say revenge is sweet.... so anyone got some good ideas?
I'll keep it brief...... used to work in a school but certain member of staff didn't like me, feeling was mutal.
I found new job and left fortnight ago.... she has now been telling parents that I was asked to leave...!!!! Have put as many as I can right but every time I see her (each day as my child is still at the school) I really want to have a go at her but this will only escalate the meaness in her!Any LEGAL ideas.
PHEW! Actually, I feel better now I've let off steam.

not sure about legal issues - i suggest you talk to a solicitor. all sorts of things come to mind if you hear someone has been asked ot leave their job at school!
also, phone the head and make him aware of the situation as this also affects the schools reputation and let him know you will be talking withh you solicitor.
you go girl!
let us know what you do!

Write to her the following letter, mark it Private and Confidential and post it Recorded Delivery to the School Address.
WITHOUT PREJUDICE SAVE AS TO COSTS.
Dear Ms -------------
RE : MY FORMER EMPLOYMENT WIITHIN (NAME OF SCHOOL)
I refer to the above and to my resignation of employment within said school.
Unfortunately, I have had the unpleasant experience of being approached by several parents, to whoms names I have no obligation to supply you with, explaining to me that you, yourself have actually told them that I was in fact 'ASKED TO LEAVE'.
Such, not being the case and I am sure that there has been quite some mistake with regard to this, I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to put this matter right. S
hould there be any remote truth in any of this idle gossip then I must inform you that would choose to seek legal advice at the earliest opportunity.
With Kind Regards.
Yours faithfully
ROOBEEDOO.
P.S. Roobeedoo, I feel for you. I left my position in the NHS for bulllying in the workplace, it shattered my self worth and confidence. When I spoke to the Senior Partner of the 22k patient practice that I worked for he told me that I would not be able to take on board the NHS. I told him that I had half a million quids worth of Legal Indemnity on my Household Contents Policy (most folk do incidently) and that I would see him in Court. Although it made me ill with worry and grief, I faced it, my insurance company paid for me the best Barrister that money could buy and they settled at Court Door. (we had all even sworn on the Bible)
It was a wonderful feeling going into that Court Room and hearing that GP SQUIRM and offering the sum of monies without argument.
I still miss my job but everything happens for a reason.
I wish

I poo'd in a girls handbag once, in Canada, she thought our one night stand was a lifetime commitment from me, she wouldn't take "fcuk off" as an indication of my non committal.
The problem was she thought I was too nice to do a thing like that, so I persuaded my mate to eat her pet rabbit and left a piece of incriminating evidence that it was me.

Thanks everyone for both your witty and serious suggestions.
Just to let you know I put in a formal complaint in writing today to the Head, Governers and HR at County, have been on phone for sometime to all concerned who have promised a full enquiry into this. (Have been told that this behaviour is not acceptable and is a form of bullying!).
I am so pleased that I plucked up courage to do this as I realised last night that she should not get away with it... more chance of her doing it again.
Would have loved to go down the poo route ha, ha,! Many thanks to all of you.
