I don't know what a Crossword Companion notebook is.

My brain is not working very well today and I am getting nowhere with this crossword. Will one of you genius's please give me a (very loaded) clue about T2 and maybe this will kick start the laggardly brain-cells into action. All contributions gratefully received but will not be on-line again until later to say thank you.

this is a really tough one as both across and down answers are altered

across: clues are made up wordplay which is what is entered into the grid and a definition of the full answer (the difference is a word)

down clues are as above except instead of a word it is just one letter that is different (as per preamble)

I agree Novalis - I thought to top things even further we were going to end up with a pangram - damn that J!

Very enjoyable - I much prefer thematic crosswords like this than to finish quickly because of easy clues only then to struggle to get the theme
