I have two that I cannot seem to get.

1d. Former fishing village in Ayrshire now a retirement and holiday resort. If my letters are correct they are:
C?L?A?T?A?. (10 letters) I have looked up all the maps and give up.

7d. Release from constraint or give free rein to (9 letters)
U?C?N?I?E

27a. A plantain which is grown in the Philippines or its fibre (5 letters) I have Amusa - is this correct?

Thanks for any help.
