24 across.Cutter passing round cape headland.(4) letters.S?A?. Feel it should be scaw but cannot find it on google or in dictionary.

You're right on 24.

skaw s-kaw A low cape or headland. Also SCAW.

I would say 24a has to be SCAW, (C for cape), or else where does the K come from?

Yes Marg44 I used scaw not skaw because of the C in the clue.
