being sick after just one or two alcoholic drinks

when we go out for the night my friend is quite often sick after having just one or two alcoholic drinks.she's so used to it-she thinks it normal so she just carries on.' i don't know anyone else who suffers from this and i really think there's something wrong.i've told her to go to her GP but she refuses. does anyone else get this or know what this could be. (ps i do think my friend has a drink problem altho she would say no)

Quite simply alcohol does not agree with your friend's body. She is probably doing more harm to herself than the same amount of alcohol would to someone else.
I doubt that a doctor will be able to do anything to change the situation and will probably advise her to reduce her consumption.

beso is right - my mum gets practically unconscious after just one drink. as a result she has been teetotal for almost 25 years (imagine that!). there is certainly something in the genetics part of it - it only takes a couple for me to feel well tipsy, so i'm a really cheap date (much to my hubby's delight - as i usually end up carrying him home!)
If your friend has been drinking at high levels for a long time, her health has probably already been impaired and her liver is almost certainly damaged. Perhaps she should try Googling "symptoms of cirrosis". Vomiting and gastic problems are very common in those who have damaged their liver with too much alcohol.
