I don't know about Gozo but often holiday areas stock standard items. It might be fun for the kids to try different foods though. I appreciate that it is easier said than done
Good luck
When my kids were little I got them used to eating bread, cheese, and oranges. The last because you have to peel them, don't eat fruit with skins if you are unsure of water hygiene, as they often spray unclean water on apples, peaches etc to make them look fresh
Gozo is lovely and fairly unspoilt but a small island, I cant see them stocking up for Brits, there just isnt any call for it, but they love kids and I am sure the local restaurants will cater for their needs. good luck.
Why not encourage your children to try something new. Leading by example always helps I find. Get them to taste it - if then they don't like it OK - but at least they have tried.......it will be cheap enough for you to order a few meze type starters to give a variety of flavours and tastes.
