Hi Krypton, it's definitely Tiff, although I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't believe me since I got last week's puzzle wrong in that I put ensis and not esses!

I think you're right in both these clues, Krypton. I can understand 27a but can't see why the answer to 19d is dolphin although I knew that it fitted but hadn't filled it in.
