Surfing - Tide times
2 Answers
Sorry, not really sure where to post this, but here goes....
I'm sure that several years ago I purchased a booklet of high & low tide times for an entire year at a particular location (as it happens it was on the Isle of Arran).
I'd really like a similar table for North Devon (in particular around Ilfracombe/Woolacombe), but I can't find anything further than about a week in the future. These tables do include high & low tide heights, but I'm not really interested in that - all I want is the times of all the high tides over the next few months or ideally the next year.
I'm sure this must be possible as the tidal cycle is presumably a fixed period of time, but I'm starting to doubt this as I have proved spectacularly incapable of finding what I'm looking for, can anyone help me?

However, they can be very difficult to get hold of if you're outside of the immediate area.
You can get a 28 day tidal forecast for Ilfracombe here:
http://www.pol.ac.uk/ntslf/tides/?port=0061
However, plenty of yachtsmen have got a free program on their computer, which is called WXTide32. It can give you tidal predictions right through until 2037 for 160 locations in the Great Britain (including Ilfracombe):
