I've been away for the past couple of weekends but have managed to get the papers for my crossword fixes. I was late in looking at the latest ones but have been astounded to find that from last weekend's Independent I was one of the winners ( for the fourth time !), and even more flabbergasted by the fact that I won the Listener (the one about the Eiffel Tower). You could have knocked me down with a feather !!!! Two in one weekend !!!

Some of the older members know ulysses100 by his real name and his great contribution to this site.

He had his leg pulled when he had a couple of wins a few years back and I don't really understand the reason for your comment.

Thank you k and all the others for their kind comments and congratulations. Of course I haven't taken offence ; I knew that your words were said in jest.
I just hope that I can see others like yourself with their name up in lights when they win such a prestigious crossword. Admittedly I possess Chambers already so the prize is a bit superfluous, but I know of some gratetful recipient who will enjoy the book(s).
