Enter the symmetrical black squares.
Add black squares over the/to the right of given clue numbers
Find the mid-point(s) of the across clues (If there are 13 across clues then 7a will be on the centre of the middle line)
Enter any further black squares logically deduced from the above procedures
Try to solve any clue for which you have a positive position/ number (and often length)
