I think I've got it now, I can't quite decide if Tristar and Trout are both right, they seem to fit in with the others. it took me a while to get them organised though! thanks

Well done. I gotta say that this was one of the toughest crosswords I've ever done. I had Mon Tue Wed off work and I looked at it for a long long time. The clues were really hard and then one had to fit them in the grid.

BTW Tangodog, if you remember could you put the crossword number if you start a thread again("Axed 1901"); it helps people to Google it.

I took time off work AND I did the Azed. Not I took time off work SO THAT I could do the Azed!

I think it is Trimtab not Tristar, but it doesn't affect the other clues.

Thank you of course it's Trimtab, how did I miss that, but why is it TROUT? I will remember to put the number in future sorry, I rarely use this site and forgot the etiquette! I was determined to finish this one but unfortunately have had to go work all week, however, it does give the mind something to do in the gaps.
