I'd never heard of them either, Ethel, but like you found great prominance of their products in the various sales doing on just now. Like you, I picked up a range of products and concluded on appearance that they are well-constructed. I don't possess any of their products.
If you Google 'Stellar Homeware' or similar term you will find a massive range of GOOD quality retailers selling their products - this does not seem like the sort of naff brand found on market stalls.
I'd be happy to buy if I needed new - but like you was sceptical as I'd never heard of them.
