there is a plant called BASIL THYME; head off very dirty = fILTHY; low = BASE, marks = M, so BAS(ILTHY+M)E

I was just looking at that and trying to decide if it was the right fit / solution as you sent it across. I couldn't find it in a list of shrubs but if you have thanks. I think it must be the solution.
