Hi BigDave not surprisingly you are spot on with each of those clues ... although I do now have full explanation following liaison with Kayakamina by e-mail, who considers the clues to be somewhat sub-standard!!

By the way, I could also suffix my handle with 44 so we may be of similar age, and I now hang my head in shame because I do remember the group REM !! :O(
