Children In Need Quiz 2008 - Results

Thank you to all who purchased quiz sheets to raise funds for 'Children in Need'. This is the now the second year that I've advertised it on Answerbank and over 100.00 was raised from here alone out of a grand total of 223.00 (inclusive of extra donations).
Fifty-five completed sheets were returned of which one entrant got 99 out of 100 and has therefore won first prize. There were a further six entrants who got 98 out of 100 so a draw was made to select the winner of the runner-up prize.
In addition there is a 'spot prize' of 5 for one lucky entrant drawn from all returned entries.
The winners are:
1st Prize: Mr E. Barker from Nantwich
Runner-Up: Mr Ray Burton from Aylesbury
Spot Prize: Mrs H.Woolliscroft from Derby
Prizes and marked answer sheets will be sent out by the weekend to all those who enclosed a SAE.
Thanks again to everybody who contributed and I hope you will all be as generous again later this year for the 2009 Children In Need Quiz.

No best answer has yet been selected by Magyar. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Thanks Pauline and Ray. I'm glad you both enjoyed it. The last of the answer sheets and explanation sheets for why certain answers were what they were (particulary in the What Comes Next? round) will be posted out tomorrow.
The answers have been posted on the fundraising quizzes site for anybody who didn't request their marked sheets back, so they can see where they might have gone wrong, and if you have a query about any of the answers just post it on AB and I'll try to explain.
Incidentally, 29 was Sgt Rock (Is Going To Help Me) by XTC and surprisingly only 8 entrants got it correct.
