Clued-Up Problems
13 Answers
Are you having problems today?
I telephoned and spoke to a very helpful guy who admitted there were problems, and they are hoping to fix a number of them very soon.
In the meantime, the main problem is with the "Remember Me" facility. If you are having problems, try logging out and then logging back on without ticking this box. It worked for me.

Back to the subject (!), this has been giving me more problems today after I thought I'd found the solution yesterday. I keep getting the following from Firefox:
_________________________________________
Redirect Loop
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.
* Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
* NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is probably a server configuration issue and not your computer.

When I eventually get in (currently only via the link at the foot of the Telegraph paper home page) I get the above message whenever I click any of the links in the two bars under the CluedUp logo. I'm not experiencing problems with any other web site but I tried deleting cookies associated with CluedUp and even a system restore to Tuesday, just to eliminate those possibilities.
I emailed the feedback address and this time got a read receipt from an actual person as well as the automated response. So far no reply but I'm not holding my breath. I think we're back to insufficient testing with browsers other that you-know-who's!

Finished the Toughie, so I can now reply:
Paul and sedge
Funny isn't it - neither of those gave me any problems, but 9d took me ages, because I was convinced the first word was "cut".
For K if he's still lurking:
Exhausted comic nose for fun exploit that's broadcast (3,3,4,4)
For bitslimited
The guy I spoke to, Allan Edwards on 0800 316 6977, admitted they had not taken as much care as they should have down with regard to other browsers, so it's probably best to stick with IE for the time being.
