leather shoes cracked help!
11 Answers
a few weeks ago my leather shoes i wear to cadets started cracking. its funny though because they're exactly the same but one has spidery crack and chunky cracks but the other only has chunky cracks.
i'm not sure if the chunky ones are cracks i think they might just be where the shoes have bent but the spidery cracks which are definatly cracks won't polish out. at cadets they said put loads of polish on butit doesnt work because it rubbs off. should i just keep putting more plish on or is they something i can do to get rid of them.

i tried the heated version of bulling and it didn't work and i haven't got any brown polish so i can't do that at the moment but i mighthave to try it.
if i got them wet because i rain i didnt putthem by the radiator, i wiped them with a cloth then put them in a box so dust doesnt gather on them.
so is the wrinley thick cracks bends in the leather and the spidery ones actual cracks in the polish? can you get rid of both or just the polish cracks by bulling it.

the brown polish you layer so you put a few layers of black then one brown then black to gve it a deeper colour.
i made sure i dried the shoes properly before putting them in my box.
i go to sea cadets.
i didnt use a blow torch i used a little bit of hot water from a ketle someone at cadets said they did that.
i think the cracks are startingto go i might have to put a bit more polish on before they go completely. (but its wierd how only 1 shoes cracked)
out of everyone there, my shoes are bend kinda cracked the most which is odd.
