I'm fairly sure that I'm banned for "over-submitting", but if AB simply got their fingers out & got a box able to cope with the number of subscribers, these problems wouldn't occur.

Am I wrong?..

Hello all
I've been following this "thread" ( is that the correct expression?) withgreat interest.
I am a fairly recent AB fan, having stumbled upon it by accident, incompetence or maybe good luck.
I have often womdered why my nom-de-plume was in green when most others were in black (I assumed I had pressed a wrong button - sorry! key - at some point). I also wondered why some of my answers had been rejected I was perfectly polite although I often put a question mark after some crossword/ puzzle suggestions.
You wonderful people have given me some insight into this amazing world of technology. Thank you.
P.S. I am not a blonde, brainless bimbo ( I WISH!!!) but an over-the-hill boring old F*** who has come late to the wonders of the internet andis finding it so educational, entertaining and good-for-keeping -me- out -of -mischief !!!

Morning!

Ok so you will be happy to know that the posting limit has been upped!

For those of you who were unaware users were previously allowed 3 posts in 5 minutes before accounts were automatically suspended however you are now able to post up 10 times in 5 minutes but wait it gets better�Not only can you now post more frequent but if you reach your 10th post, you will receive a warning which will prevent you from posting again for approx a further 2 minutes. After which fill your boots and get posting again!

User accounts will no longer be automatically suspended for excessive posting.
This will be particularly beneficial for all our quick thinking users who could probably do with an extra 7 posts within the 5 minute time frame.

All I can say is the more bells and whistles on here the worse it is .
They seem to pick on the innocent and let the dross and abusive people have free rein .I have said this before and will say it again .
Serial abuse in CB and nowt is done about it .Yet innocent crossword answerers get penalised .

To true Mamya ..we had all this yonks ago .People being banned in this section for no reason . These are crossword answers etc not abuse OK there is the odd spat but it's nothing like what you read on another certain section .Which makes me very suspicious.
I hope you are OK and keeping your chin up :)
Lost my darling Ma in law just before Christmas .Haven't really come to terms with it yet .Too much aggro as it's abroad and I haven't had the time to have a really good cry :(

Thank you. It's all been very sad .You get the old mother in law jokes but I had the pleasure to have known a lovely lady for 36 years . She meant a lot to me ..however life goes on .
