Crosswords aren't very important but It's a lovely day so go and have a really brisk walk somewhere nice, smile at people and they might smile back and when you return home have a nice cuppa tea and a biscuit or too.
I'm sure you might feel like picking up the paper and doing your crosswords again.
Good Luck.

Agree with Tallulah and JMR27 :-) Sometimes a change is as good as a rest, too, so maybe try something else- pursue another hobby for a little while. Just focus on getting well firstly. Exercise is very good for depression- used to be a psychiatric nurse + the day hospital worked in promoted exercise as one of the key treatments/therapies. Learning a new skill can be very rewarding too + distracts the mind wonderfully + boosts self esteem.Try to keep active + try to be with a group( a day hospital, a MIND centre, or something where you can meet people and have activities to do as this will help). Hope you lindylou16 will be feeling brighter soon- be patient with your good self. Wish you all the best. Bea (i)
Ziggi :-) was this a joke as in too down 2 down, wanting a puzzle clue answerm, or a real request from someone too low to be able to do crosswords- not sure? Yet, if the latter want the person to know that this will pass + she need not be alone or feel that there is no help out there. Better to be caring surely anyhow?! Warm wishes, Bea :-)
No longer a Psychiatric nurse as live with a chronic neurological condition so unable to work. Yet, sectioning patients are very rare these days anyhow except for the most severe/acutely ill cases- most patients are there voluntarily + all day hospital patients are there voluntarily anyhow even if referred by a doctor :-) NoleenColan :-)
Warm wishes, Bea, a happy yet delicate flower :-)
