I have just bought a new tyre pressure sensor for my Peugeot 407. It is due for a service soon and I want to know if a normal tyre fitting company can fit the sensor to the wheel. The garage I use is going to programme it to the car computer.

yes , most certainly, a lot of modern vehicles are fitted with these now they have to keep up with technology.
Just the programming afterwards becomes an issue.
Some newer systems can " self learn" due to problems with wheels not being fitted back in there original positions after servicing, The light may flash for a few miles as the system updates

Thanks for the answers guys. Would either of you know if my 407 would have a 'self learn' system?
im fairly certain it has to go to a dealer. the tyre company you use to fit it should be able to advise, they do these things all day long they must know.
