when did simon cowell become head of itv? whenever britains (not) got talent or zzz factor are on they are shown wall to wall on every itv channel. we get the show plus full repeat plus repeat with ant & dec plus repeat with that idiot kids presenter trying to be funny. the show is so staged, shots of the audience cheering & jeering & panel expressions have all been filmed and edited in at an appropriate place. there's no mystery as to who will win. when you see an act just think ' can cowell make big bucks out of this?' the finalists will all be artists who can offer this option no matter who the public get vote for.

The fact is the bulk of people who win or do well in X factor, Britains got talent etc do burger all after - with a couple of exceptions.

X factor has produced leona Lewis - the remainder have been dropped by their record labels.

Britains got talent - a kid breakdancing underneath a hose pipe. Whoopee do.

Trash TV aimed at the moronic majority in this country. Cheaply made, endlessly repeated with no fees to anyone, and spin off income from witless idiots who make telephone votes. And then even more rake off from the debut single, debut album and the BGT tour., before the hapless winners sink without trace. Of course it will be saturation coverage. Which serves us right!
And Cowell doesn't really make much money fom the winner. That is too much like hard work. Dump them after the first album, and move on to the next TV series..
