Hi all,

Got a few left......would appreciate some help with 2 of them.

16d, 24d, Temple on this austere policy, following princess (8,4)

_ I _ T _ I _ _ , _ I _ _

4d) Milton's time-consuming instrument (5)

O _ O _ E

Can't fathom it for the life of me.

Oh, and 11a really appealed to my childish humour.......one of the funniest ever clues. :)

Thanks
Chris

Could have been in Private Eye !
Lol! Although my answer has 10 letters (?)

Flatulence - anag 'all' (about) TU (in) 'Fence'

Yes, good clue - I gave up on the Grauniad years ago as some of the compilers were really taking the Mickey...

Yeah, made me chuckle whenI got it.

I love the Sat Guardian prize crossword....always a good challenge, but agree that some setters try hard to flumox you; sometimes the clues are just way too cryptic.

Have a nice day.
