This week's offering is "Overhead Reduction" by Schadenfreude. No mention of colouring, but apparently scissors, paper, adhesive and a straight edge will be required. Hmmmm !

Gosh!
After reading your post I went straight to the site and got my copy!

I don't think it's quite as nasty as it first looks.

Good luck everyone.

Yes Kayakamina, not as onerous as first appears and with a nice little touch at the end to bring a smile.
I have a completed grid (after the deletion), together with no idea how to proceed to the next stage. I'm thinking about the title and looking in the grid for inspiration.
thanks starwalker - with home internet now fully operational , a bottle of wine at hand and my blue peter talents, i am looking forward to this one. Schadenfraude's ovine Listener "terminal suspension" was very enjoyable last year.
I must be mutton-headed tonight (could be the ale of course!) but haven't solved that many clues as yet. Tomorrow, hopefully, is another day...
After a bit of cold solving things began to take shape quite rapidly. The cluing was precise, and the final resolution quite pleasing. Another entertaining offering from Schadenfreude.
yes a very quick grid fill. Scahdenfraude also appears in today's Independent's Inquisitor, which is a carte blanche. By the look of it I think this might be harder than this weeks listener.
Good fun, this, and certainly not as daunting as it might look, though, as AHearer indicates, a fair degree of cold solving is required to get going. But the accurate clueing helps in that regard. A pretty finish, too.
I agree with all of the above... I read the preamble and thought we were in for a real hard slog but the grid came together quite easily and the PDM wasn't long in coming as I guessed correctly where the extra clue should sit.

Good fun and always a bonus if the result is unambiguous and hasn't taken an inordinate time to solve.

I've got two 2-letter entries in my final version. Everybody comfortable with that? It's unusual to have 2-letter entries in a Listener.
I haven't any two-letter entries, magwitch. I did flirt with them, but hope I found something better.
No 2 letter entries for me either...
No doubt that Schadenfreude's Indie offering was more of a challenge this week - thanks for the recommendation midazolam ......... today's Azed is here

No 2 letter word entries here either.

After my Chambersless session in t'pub t'other night where I only solved 1/4 of the clues I was glad to have the 'good book' by my side yesterday!

I really enjoyed this offering by Shadenfreude - clues were precise and fair and the final outcome raised a smile. The only snag now is whether we have any 'non-stick sticky stuff' in the house! (Wonder whether use of sticky tape will be marked wrong?)
Pleasant with good clues - but still finished well within normal time (despite a Eurovision distraction!). I think the sticky stuff on the tape will count as adhesive, so you should be clear. But, if I use a knife, rather than scissors?
Very enjoyable although I'm not a great one for cutting and pasting . Could have done it more neatly on t'computer but that would have been marked down.
Thank you for the AZED link Cruciverbali.
Thank goodness I no longer submit, I can by-pass the Blue Peter stuff.

Another enjoyable Saturday afternoon solve. Totally agree about the precision of the clues.

I'd say thanks to Schadenfreude if only I could spell it !!
