I think it is A PEEPE OUT as its the only thing that came up in Chambers Word Wizard and it could have something to do with Shakespeare, but its not listed in the O E D so I am still looking .....
What does 'A Peepe Out' mean? Only reference I find it is to Shakespeare's (usage in multiple works) but link to being "Tipsy or having overstepped one's mark" is not clear.
