What was Maxwell Caulfield's character in An Inspector Calls???

Hi All,

I have one of those questions that is bugging me and I need to know the answer or it will plague me forever - I have trawled the internet for an answer but have had no luck.

Maxwell Caulfield (Grease 2, Casualty and now Emmerdale actor) appeared on Broadway 1992 and Royal National Theatrein London in 'An Inspector Calls' which is stated on wikipedia and every other site I have searched but it does not say which character he played.

Does anyone know which character he played in these theatre shows?
