New AB newsletter email

I have recieved the above via email addressed to me as dot.hawkes (and to the email address I had used on AB for 3 and a half years) but that ID was supposedly deleted (accidentally) earlier this year . I have also had the same newsletter via email to the dothawkes ID I used when i first joined in 2004.

Can you please explain how it is you still have these ids and emails addresses in your contacts and yet i am not able to use the id on AB AND all my 25,000 posts disapeared when the ID was accidentally perma-banned?

well i have had 4 copies, one to this current id, the two above and one to a Dot hawkes ID that i must have used when i was zapped, but also, at the start of the address line there are a whole sequence of number before my email address which I have never seen before

There's actually a serious side to this isn't there, and it goes beyond just one person. Just what info does this company hold that it may have no rights to hold?
