This last one is driving me mad.

"Conspirator caught in Jose's house?" (5)

I have "c_s_a" which I think are all correct but the only word I can come up with is "costa" but, if so, for the life of me can't see how this relates to the clue.

Can someone explain or put me right?

So casa is a spanish house? Is that where the Jose comes in?
Casca - A conspirator. with c(caught) in casa - Spanish for house.

Yes casa is Spanish for house (Joses house) or he could be a Mexican :))

Thankyou both - wouldn't have got that.

The only conspirator I had along the Roman lines was Cassius (Longinus) who was a conspirator against Julius Ceasar but I couldn't fit this either.

Oh well!
