I have my youngest - 12 year old girl - and she is chomping at the bit to get back to school on Wednesday - she is starting secondary school . I wish i had half her enthusiasm about anything. I just hope the next six years wont knock it out of her.
well I think its equally hard, girls tend to be quite cliquey b!tchy and competative, its much more of a grown up environment, she will love it once she gets used to it
I found it quite difficult at times... not personally, the rules etc... but I went to a convent school for girls. Not great but it made you creative.
I don't know why we don't recapture that enthusiasm though... I know today I've been completely irritating but I'm over excited and terribly happy and I've no interest in hiding it... :c)
Why should you hide it China - you are going to have a brilliant time. I went to a convent school too and no offence to any nuns who may be logged on but i came out vowing never to send my girls to the nuns. I have a 19 year old boy Cazz who hated school and a 16 year old girl who is fine - there is bitchiness but she can cope fine with it. so I suppose its the individual
