One kind person has suggested sandetz but I am not sure and another schmelz but the letters are definitely right.

Any other suggestions?

Schmelz would appear to be the correct answer. What was the clue that gave you the letter 'n' and what letters do you have in place for the answer?

Wilbo, can I ask where your "n" comes from, as schmelz is in Chambers as a glass used in decorative work?
