Is anyone else upset that 1(and 6) across 'Team upsetting mother with ugly play' (8,6) giving (I think) the answer 'Plymouth Argyll' is not a perfect anagram of 'mother' and 'ugly play'? or that 19a 'Entertaining lass could show ogreish curls' (6,4) giving the answer 'chorus girl' is not a perfect anagram of 'ogreish curls'? Am I being too pernickety, or am I yet again missing something that other people understand perfectly?

I suspect 19 should read 'ogrish curl' - these typos are not infrequent so we don't tend to lose a lot of sleep over them.

Thanks for the spelling correction kayakamina and - OK cruciverbali - I won't lose any more sleep over it . . .

Thanks also for the spelling correction cruciverbali. I must say I'm not getting on v well with this new format. I wanted to mark both of the spelling corrections as 'best answer'.
