Hello Devadolly, sorry for lack of response. Have been collecting number 2 son from the airport - an unexpected but welcome visit which put me into a flurry of activity clearing the decks so I can spend some time with him during his flying visit of 4 days.

Thank you all for the hints, 9d & 5d both came and thumped me round the head late last evening, exactly as pointed out - just how many names begin with DMI? Still haven't cracked 33 but will have a look later.
