Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 Online Problem on PS3

Evening all

I did post this in "gaming", but just in case there are some people tearing their hair out at the moment, thought i'd stick it here too............

Just to let you know that as of a little while ago today, a problem has occurred trying to get online playing MW2 on PS3.

Rather than repeat what the problem is, i have put 2 links on here stating exactly what the issues are and whats happening when you try to get online.

I have spoken to Sony Playstation's PS3 helpline....spoke to a very helpful guy who says that most of the calls they're taking tonight are in regards to this.......they did have mixed parties and PSN problems earlier....now resolved.....cant do anything with MW2 problem as it is a Actovision game.........Sony have sent Actovision an urgent message detailing the problem and are advising customers that hopefully a patch will be sent out to fix fault......it is understood that Version update 1.02 may be the patch which left people unable to play online and get trophies too.
One theory is that the servers are overloaded with the amount of people all over the world trying to get online.

Dont waste your time ringing through to Sony Playstation PS3 helpline as they are as frustrated as everyone.

Lets hope for a quick fix soon.
