SGU again, explanation please!

Last week they all contracted some disease from the jungle planet and some died including Chloe before they discovered the killer creatures also contained the antidote from the bug in the ice they picked up from the ice planet. Anyway there was also confusing time paradox involving Keno, solar flares etc and it ended with me at least none the wiser. I could only assume that it was part 1 of a 2 parter, this week all's well again they are back on the destinly and Chloe is alive again! Can some enlightened soul tell me what's occurring? thanks

Opening a wormhole at the same time as a solar flare can send travellers forwards or backwards in time.This happened to SG1 in the episode 1969.Destiny arrived at the planet and the away team found a keno,which had been sent back in time,containing a record of what happened the first time they went to this planet.At the end of the episode Scott sent the keno back again having recorded a concise explanation of what they needed to do so that the next time they arrived could act on that.Or the next time,etc,until they got it right.
