KM Links Game - January week 1 results

Good morning everyone - sorry I'm running a bit behind time so no time for chatter, but straight into it !!!

The first week threw up a few surprises - I mentioned lots of points, but of course with that goes not too many possible matches and we had a fair few of them -

Key Note
Crane Fly
Brush Stroke
Bull Frog

Well the bulk of the points went on Crane Fly, but the other three received little attention - beejay1124 was the only one venturing into Key Note land, but it served him in good stead, the Bull Frog had 6 takers and the Brush Stroke had 8.

The chief surprise of the weekend came in the form of the entrant who managed three correct and a score of 6 points - she's either too busy, not awake at that early hour [ not that she has to be ] or forgets about us altogether, but we don't mind, maybe she'll come back next time. I'm talking of course about EVSAJO [ otherwise known as Kay ] as with her 6 points she sits neatly on the top of the Leader Board.

Quite a number of entrants picked up 3 points for their predictions, namely BEEJAY1124, TEARINGHAIR, DEECEE131, CLIFFYG, KEYBOARDIX & CHRISS, while a further 35 of us each collected a point for our tally.

As this is the first week that's how the Leader Board looks for the time being, so I say Congratulations to all, for a pretty good start and we'll all be back next Saturday, same time, same place to do it all again.

Wow Kay! Nuff sed! Thanks Steff but couldn't you have given me a point for correctly predicting that my score would be zilch? Winge, winge!! So relieved to see that tearinghair did better than Captain Oates!! :0)

Well Steff have just been told about this by Gen. What a surprise !!! I must admit I do forget your comp but will try and remember next week after such a good start !!!
I usually do the MM links but hardly ever score so you will def. get a visit next week, love Kay
