Holidays in February

Hey all,
Me and my fiance want to go on holiday in february, to celebrate him completing his training with the army. Have you any reccomendations of where to go? We would like somewhere hot but have a budget of £1000 between us so it cant be anywhere too exotic! Would also like it to be quite lively with a good night life

I would avoid European destinations in February. Nowhere in Europe is really warm enough to qualify as "hot", despite what claims are made.

You can get an All-Inclusive deal to Sharm-El-Sheik for around £450 each. It will be quite warm there and not too far to travel (about 5 hours). Another possibility is the Canaries (Tenerife, Lanzarote). It remains warm there most of the winter (yesterday in Tenerife it was 24 degrees).

I too was going to suggest the Canaries, Egypt or Morocco - try and find a deal online for any of these places and you are sure to enjoy some sunshine.

There are some great offers for Morocco at the minute, cheap flights and hotels. We are going mid March and I found a great hotel. Tenerife is hard to beat, although euro is still strong and makes it expensive! but will be hot in February , and yes it is very hot there now, my sister has been there since Christmas Eve and everyday has been fantastic weather wise. Definately keep away from all european destinations. What about a carribean cruise,? great bargains to be had there too.

Hey there!
If you are looking for the best nightlife ever you should definetaly go to Barcelona! Plus the climate is not tough at all. The nightclubs are lasting literally in the morning. You can find many good night clubs, bars with love music and dance, cabarets etc. Media URL: http://www.apartime.com
