1d Restraint called for with one girl going off the rails (3-4) _E_-I_O_
I'm assuming it's LEG-IRON, as that's a restraint and I can get the bit about "one girl", but how does the rest work?

18d Not free to wed (7) _N_A_E_
ENCAGED, ENCASED, INCASED?

"off the rails" indicates an anagram
ENGAGED = "Not free" (as in Toilets), but also means (Promised) to wed.
