33 if your letters are right then EXUVIA fits, which relates to shedding skins - but not sure how to justify this against the clue...

Eruvim is indeed the answer: eru(pt) + vim.

This plural form isn't however given in Chambers. 'Tripe' is also not an accurate definition of the answer at 22dn. The two products concerned are made from different parts of different animals, and they look and taste different, too!
